Dr. Nora Dennis is a board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist and Lead Medical Director for Behavioral Health at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, where she is responsible for leading strategic and operational excellence for the behavioral health team with a focus on value-based care and alternative payment models.

Prior to joining the team at Blue Cross NC, Dr. Dennis served as Chief Medical Officer for Monarch, one of the largest behavioral health providers in North Carolina.

Dr. Dennis attended medical school and residency at Duke University and received her MSPH from UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Dennis continues to serve as an adjunct assistant professor in the Duke University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
